Privacy Policy
At VeliaCycle, we take your privacy and data security seriously. We believe that your health data is private, personal, and should remain completely under your control. This Privacy Policy describes how VeliaCycle collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application and related web support services.
1. Information Collection
VeliaCycle is designed to prioritize local storage and minimize data collection. Most data you input remains entirely on your device:
- Local Health Data: Information you track—including cycle dates, period flows, symptoms (such as cramps, cervical mucus, bloating), notes, and logs—is stored locally in your device's sandboxed storage. We do not store this information on external servers.
- Optional Account Info: If you use support requests or feedback forms, we collect the email address and name you choose to provide so we can respond to your request.
- Subscription Analytics: We use RevenueCat to process and validate App Store checkouts. Transaction histories are governed by Apple's payment processor agreements.
2. Data Usage
We use the data we collect solely to provide the services you request, including:
- Providing cycle and ovulation predictions locally using our prediction engine.
- Answering customer support inquiries and resolving technical issues.
- Validating Premium subscriptions and app permissions.
3. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal health information with third parties. Your cycle tracking statistics, notes, and symptom logs are never uploaded to advertising platforms, analytics firms, or data brokers.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Since your cycle data is saved locally on your iOS device, you can delete your entire tracking history at any time by uninstalling the application or selecting the Delete Account / Logs option in the app Settings. This completely purges all cycle information from your device's storage and keychain.
5. Security
We employ standard iOS sandboxing frameworks, secure keychain containers, and file encryption protocols to ensure that other apps cannot read your local cycle logs. However, please remember that no system is 100% secure, and we advise keeping your device passcode protected.
6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
